A letter to a Daughter from her Mother!

To my sweet little Angel,

It's been 18 years now that you have been gifted to me. Can't believe how time passes by. It's just like yesteryears that you were born to me, with those lovely twin Chinese eyes, pink lips, chubby cheeks, long fingers, tiny hair,  fair and tall, just like an other Johnson  Baby/Barbie Model...

I still remember how you used to do actions for "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Baa Baa Black Sheep", when I recited your bedtimes rhymes and that's  when you were hardly 9 months old.

And I still remember how you recited Tables from 1 -12 in just 2 days time when you were hardly 5 years old... People did say that there was for sure a mathematician born to us!

You were always a bunch of surprises to me!

Time just passes by....and very soon you turned into a Teen.

Ahh... Teenage is the most challenging phase in parenting.  We, parents all of a sudden become your Villains if we ask you not to do this or that.

Crush, attractions and love plays it's troll in this very phase. Umpteen proposal and Love letters makes you feel that you are a princess, needless to say.

To handle these things, Right Age, Right Decision to do Right Things are the key factors, one of your age group should think off.

Like any other girl did, even I dreamt of my Charming Prince who would come in search of me on a white horse, take me along with him, get married and live happily ever after.

Dream is just a dream!

There would be no real prince. Reality is alway bitter. What we dream of a perfect prince and perfect marriage is just a myth. Nothing would be perfect. Infact we have to make it perfect with Compromise and even sacrifice at times...

Now that you are turned into an adult, it's my responsibility to let you know the shades of life.

There is no better Teacher than your Last Mistake!  Never commit the same mistake twice. Learn from your past experiences. Don't let others rule your emotions. Love oneself selflessly. When you cannot love yourself, you cannot love others. Don't leave your happiness in the hands of others. If you did, you are sure to get hurt!

Career is really very important to sustain yourself in the race of life! Things like love, friends etc. follows, when you become success. You don't have to chase them.

Last but not the least, SELF RESPECT is very important and never let it go at any cost!
