Or was it all the lust
For she walked out so easily
Leaving me alone, breaking all my
trust
I was soo madly and truly in love with
her that
Even Cupid could be put to shame
But things went in vain
When she left me for someone, setting
my heart into flame
Days couldn’t heal the pain
Neither the weeks, months nor the years
It was only when I realised that
Nothing is permanent, including the
pain that once left me in tears
